Hi Elana and welcome. First of all I like to say Im sorry that your father went missing and you have such little details about him. How difficult that had to be for you and the family to deal with, the not knowing makes the situation that much more tragic.
Elana, even though its been over 20 years it does not matter. From my understanding time on the Otherside has no meaning, years to us can be like minutes to them. I feel your father is definitely reaching out to you to let you know he loves you and will always watch over you and what better day to do that than on his birthday.Dont let it freak you out, let your father know you appreciate him reaching out to you, talk to him, he can hear and see you, he knew you have questions and hopefully by knowing he is doing okay will help you in your healing.
