Subject: Re: A question
Such a good question. I understand completely your craving to see and hear your husband but at the same time fearing your reaction to that very thing. After all, his passing has forced you to do the unthinkable, which is to learn to live without his physical presence.

I believe we fear apparitions because they are not "normal". It is not normal to see someone who has died and we anticipate a response of fear in considering it.

I must tell you I feel my husband's presence every day without seeing him. I have audibly heard his voice only once but daily I communicate telepathically with him. He has gently touched me a few times physically. Though I don't see him physically, I know he is always with me. We have learned to continue our relationship despite him in heaven and me on earth. I live a new type of "normal" relationship with Art, which brings me great comfort.

Our loved ones continue to love us and lovingly watch over us. They don't want to frighten us. It is my experience they will communicate with us only in loving ways. You can reach out to your husband in conversation, even if only with your thoughts. He will find a way to respond that will not frighten you. Hope this helps.
