Very good question.....and I think Mary did a wonderful job answering.
I DO think my Loved One(s)...(I have several in Spirit), know when I've been unnerved, so instead they give me "gentle" signs....Things like Dimes, numbers on the clock almost every day, and wildlife -- mostly birds.
It's been awhile since they gave me a "wow" ADC. Dreams are so special.....be sure to journal them. And those touches are special too....I've had my hair pulled and head tickled while in bed, but the biggest was receiving a "Spirit Hug" when I was making a Holiday dinner. I felt so much love that tears began falling before I realized it. A smell ADC is also very powerful. I've had them a few times and would love more.
Another thought is to ASK. I think we receive more when we do.
