Pat, I know what you are saying. I have had dreams of a house I used to live in. Even dreamed I was there looking around and was afraid the occupants would see me, and how would I explain I was in their home? It was so real. I often google places I lived when I was little. I guess it just represents a simpler time in our lives and possibly happy memories.
I once dreamed I was in our old house and I was just sitting there observing my children play when they were just little. It was so real and I was amazed I could make out every little feature of their faces. It was almost like I traveled back in time as they are grown now. And in the dream I was definitely an observer, like I just popped in invisibly.
I know those were wonderful times, when we were just starting out.
