Larry, my husband, passed last May, and he's given me some wonderful ADC's....I've shared many here. Yesterday I believe he did it again.....
We have miniature horses and our very oldest (age 35) has been failing and night before last my daughter and I knew it was the end for our Slipper because she was laying down and we couldn't coax her up, even with her evening grain. Yesterday morning I went out and sure enough she had laid over on her side and passed away. I covered her face with a towel and texted my daughter who responded that she would be home soon.... I was going to reply, but instead the reply bar already had "xoxo" typed in it.
What's also interesting and special is that one of our other mares foaled a flashy black and white colt about 2 hours later! |
