My dog, Idgy, paid a visit in Spirit a couple of nights ago.... How do you explain that JUST KNOWING and feeling the "thick air"? I was in bed and he came along side, circled around where his bed used to be and went out to the dog bed we keep by our office alcove (I can see it from our bedroom)....then he left.
I would have questioned my gut senses except was validated by the behavior of both my husband's dog (who sleeps ON our bed) AND one of our cats (who sleeps on my dresser in a kitty bed.) Idgy spooked Elana, the cat and she bolted. My husband's dog did a very low rumble in the back of his throat, jumped off the bed and seemed to follow Idgy's Spirit out to the dog bed. When Idgy "left", Deeter looked around the dog bed, then turned and came back to us and settled down.
Deeter misses his friend....He still comes into the barn while I'm doing chores and searches....Idgy was always with me when I went to the barn -- or anywhere! |
