I hadn't really thought about it, but I also had a great hummingbird experience last Sunday....My description of it was a "God Moment".
As I was hanging a feeder up with fresh nectar, a female Rufous hummingbird came and fed off of it. I FROZE and let her feed for probably a minute or more. She actually sat and ate with my hand on the feeder's hook. She suddenly realized I was right there and flew backwards and hovered next to the feeder. We stared at each other for several seconds before she darted off.
Now I'm wondering if that wasn't another ADC?
