I'm smiling about your visual, Josie.... I've had that happen too, but with horses! One was a mini who had to have a leg amputated and he became a therapy horse. Gabriel provided much comfort during his 7 years. When one of his remaining 3 legs began to give out, we had to put him down, but he gave me a visual of him running on ALL FOUR.
Our other horse was a pony who had broken his leg and gave me a Dream Visit. I've actually had TWO dream visits where I was "invited" into a very beautiful green valley. In one of the visits two of our mini mares were also there and greeted me.
