Wonderful post, Snapdragon. I think if we try to "force" something to happen, it might not be the "right" timing for us. And as your father said, he "can't always come when he wants to."

Your open door policy sounds good to me! :) I've always been of the opinion that a good relationship has its quiet times as well as its times of communication.
