I agree with you totally. Your response is so well-written. Knowing my husband, he wants to "visit" on his own time, when he thinks it is right to send an ADC, and not by any rules. If I were to try to "go by the book", so to speak, I think he would be stubborn and resist and come at his own time. I know him too well. He always was - and is -a bit of a rebel, one reason I love him so much.
I had a similar dream as you describe wtih your father. He also was at the front door with a whole entourage of men behind him, who, I'm guessing, may have been the many friends who preceded him in "death". He also looked young and healthy. His friends were shadowy and I could not see the details of their faces. He said to me, "I had to go away for awhile." And I seemed to understand. It was very vivid.
I appreciate any ADC's he sends my way and thank him for them.
