That is one of the many ways or loved ones can communicate to us. About two weeks after my Mom passed, me and my two dogs are watching tv in my bedroom at night and I heard my name whispered but just loud enough to know which direction it came from and it came from the room where she passed next to me. My dogs both got out of the bed and walked in the room just staring and were quiet.
So your Dad is sending his ADCs to let you all know he is watching over you. .. Your Mom is so fortunate to have heard him. He loves her dearly.
