Pennies from Heaven |

My husband has been sending me pennies from Heaven lately, especially today. When we used to run together, we would often find pennies along the road. We'd pick them up and make bets on the dates. Whoever was closest would have to buy the other an ice cream cone or lunch. I still have most of them in a container where we kept them, intending one day to produce some work of art with them.
Today on my way into work, I found one - pocketed it -then shortly after that another. Then shortly after lunch, a coworker went out of her way to bring me the third penny that she'd seen on the running board of my van - 3 - a significant number, I think, for spiritual reasons as well as the fact that in a about a month and a half, it will be THREE years since my soulmate went Home. I find it interesting when people insist on giving me something that for me is quite significant. Frankly,though, if I'd seen a penny on someone's van, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to give it to them; I'd just figure they'd find it.
I've added my pennies from Heaven to the stash we collected while running.
