I had the opportunity to hear Bill lecture in So. MD in May/June and was fascinated by the stories I heard from people attending. I have had your book for months but have a hard time reading it. I lost my so two years ago (8/17) in a car accident after being out celebrating his 23rd birthday (8/16). The day of his wake before going to the funeral home, the family was sitting in a sort-of circle in the yard and a black butterfly flew into the middle and stayed there for the longest time. I commented that it was probably Jason. Then I started noticing butterflies a lot and on the following day before Father's Day, my husband and I came out of the house and a black butterfly was on the door jamb. It stayed there as we walked passed and closed the door. I want to believe Jason is sending me messages and I want to talk to a medium so badly. I believe in all of this, but I'm afraid of being made a fool of by someone who might be less than honest. Sometimes I just feel desperate to have some sign I can be positive comes from him. I want to know he's okay and nearby, even though I believe it.

I have been reading other messages here and am amazed at how many others have had similar experiences. I have your book "Hello From Heaven", and just love it. I have always felt from a very early age that I some how had some kind of "connection" to the "spirit world." I am by no means a psychic, I only mean that I could always feel a presence, smell a familiar fragrance, have dreams warning me of things that did come to pass. I always felt that maybe I was just a little bit crazy. I know my husband thinks so whenever I tell him of these things. My visits consist primarily of my maternal grandparents whom I was very close to. Several months when after my grandfather passed away when I was a teenager I awoke in the middle of the night to see him seated in a chair from his home at the foot of my bed surrounded by what I'm assuming was a green aura. He never said a word, just looked very peaceful and mentally told me not to cry for him any longer because he had found great peace. From that point on, I became aware of little things to let me know his presence. Since then, my grandmother passed away last Nov. I thought the woman hung the moon! She passed away from alzheimer's. The day before she died, I had gone to visit her. She looked so pittiful, Ijust could'nt stand to see her suffer this way any longe. I prayed and asked God to take her home and end her torture. I told her how much I loved her and that it was ok to go "home" to be with my grandfather, she died the next morning. I eulogized her as being a butterfly, set free of her coccoon. I know see yellow butterflies wherever I go now. I am now living in the house where my grandparents lived. Every now and then strange things happen, I believe it's them. I don't mean to go on and take up space. It's just nice to know I'm in the company of others like me. My biggest desire is to have communication with them just to validate my thoughts, and confirm that these little things are signs from them and that I'm not a little crazy. So if anyone is ever contacted by Bob or Ruth and it's intended for Mindy, please e-mail me and let me know. Thanks for all the wonderful ways you are helping others.

Have recently read your book. Stumbled onto it at our local book store on my own. Have found it to very comforting. I lost my 15 yr old daughter on March 31st of this year. She was killed as a pedistrian. Before reading your book I experienced two very viivid dreams with my daughter. In both dreams she has come to me in our home. She didn't say anything to me, I ran up to her a gave her a big hug. She just looks very peaceful. After having these dreams I immediately wake up and feel much comfort. When he was 5 years old, his favorite cartoon character was Robin -- The Boy Wonder (Batman's side-kick). Recently, I've noticed a robin (bird) visiting my garden and hanging around my workbench for hours. This robin sings at the top of his lungs. In Jan of 1992, after 14 childless years, I found I was pregnant. My son was born 3 months premature--9 months after his Grandmother died and when we got his Social Security #, the last four digits were the same as the last four digits of his grandmother's phone number! Am halfway through reading your book...very inspiring. Had an adc from my father not long after he died. (Dream). Was very vivid, and fit the descriptions I've read about. No fear, just warm feelings, grateful that he chose me to come to. We weren't that close, but he must have realized I'd be open to it. Asked me to tell my mom that he was happy. Did so, but mom was initially a little skeptical. She'd had an NDE several years prior, but accepted the MD's explanation that it was hallucinations due to Rx. And yet, it paralelled NDE so well. After I related adc/dream to her, it kind of opened her up to this. Thanks for the book.

I've experienced three losses - my father due to a stroke, my father-in-law whom I loved dearly, to liver cancer, and my sister to breast cancer. I have 2 sisters living, one has advanced ovarian cancer and is terminal (whatever that means!). My youngest sister is healthy as am I. I also have a brother recently diagnosed with diabetes. I learned about this site reading Hello From Heaven. I want so much to know how my sister is - we were so close through all the years she fought cancer and I miss her every day. I'm hoping to learn how that might hapen by visiting this site and others like it. The book was wonderful.

I am a police officer for the Village of St Charles, and I have been intrested in the paranormal for quit some time. I'm currently investigating a haunted house in my area. It took place back in 1974 and into 75. A close friend of mine was one of the family members who resided in the house. He experinced voices coming thru the air cond flying objects, exploisions,loud banging on the side of their house, and several fires of unknown origine. I have approx 40 police reports from 4 different police agences, Parapsychologstist 1 from Duke university and his partner from Sweaden. I have been visited in dreams by two people who have passed on. My step-dad came to visit me two months after he died. He asked me to pray for him; I did so and I think he is in a better place now. Additionally, I've been worried about my daughter and recently, Barrie, a neighbor who died 3 years ago, and who is the father of her best friend came in a dream and told me that she was 'ingesting' something that was throwing her body chemistry off. I'm going to forward that info to her and see if that helps.

I just finished Hello from Heaven. I recently lost my 17 yr. old son in January of 97. He was murdered. I have been searching for some comfort. Your book has given me some hope that I may someday receive an ADC from my son. I hope and pray that I do soon.
