Sometimes when I am doing genealogy, I will know that there is a military member of the family yet to be found and added to the person's family tree. I know I should just keep on looking for them, then sure enough I find them. I will not have known their name when looking for them, only that they served in the military service. I believe they wanted their relative to know about their life, their family, and how they served their country, and made a difference in their time.
