I agree with you about the rat race of the bigger cities! I moved to a small town near Amarillo 21 years ago, and have never regretted it! :) When my sister moved here from Austin 3 years ago, she gave a big sigh of relief in getting away from all that hustle and bustle, too.
If I were in your shoes, I would stay where I am and continue to communicate by phone and visits with your son. Enjoy the peace and nature all around! :) That's so nice that Bill's sister is moving near you. Bet you two enjoy getting together and doing fun things like shopping, chatting, etc.
Yes, looking forward to being in a serene and "heavenly" place one of these days with our loved ones. It's nice to know that this world isn't all there is!!
Thanks for the good wishes for better health. Bill's doing his best to fight all the incarnations of cancer - prostate, kidney, and skin. He's going the standard recommended routes, but is also taking supplements that can possibly help fight cancer, too. (I'm very glad that he's adding the supplements!)
Best wishes to you, and have fun visiting with your sister-in-law. Some of nicest people I've ever know were Bill's parents -- my in-laws!!
Blessings sent your way.
Love ya,
Teresa
