I just told someone last night how my love, Diana, loved Sting and The Police. Today marks the three month anniversary of her suicide.
I've generally been keeping away from music in general, because so much is triggering. Today I turned the radio on and stopped on some song (I forget what) that made me start sobbing thinking about her. When that song ended, the very next one that came on was "Don't Stand So Close to Me" by The Police. I stopped sobbing and was like "Wait, is this The Police?" I realized it was, and couldn't help but smile.
I miss her so much. |
