I am very saddened to hear about the loss of your wonderful partner. Am personally aware of just how unbelievably painful that can be. After 10 years, it is better that it was, but you never really get over it.
One thing I ended up doing by accident may be attracting ADC's from my partner. I have my partner's box (urn) on the bed next to mine. There is a fan that I use for white noise sitting on a chair not far from the opposite side of my bed.
A fair amount of recent ADC's involve my feet, having them held, rubbed, squeezed and having my toes pulled on and scratched. It is very soothing and very loving. I later discovered that my feet are on a direct line between the fan and the urn. Quite a "coincidence"!
