Subject: My Christmas tree
This is my second message I just wanted to mention, for the past 42 years it has been our family tradition to find the largest most beautiful fresh Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. That day we had no luck after trying a couple of Christmas tree farms. In the afternoon I decided to go check a farm we used to use years ago. I usually have a gaggle of people with me, But, after wasting 5 hours of their time, I decided to just go have a look see by myself. It is about 25 miles away so I said a little prayer that I would find the perfect tree and also asked my husband if he was with me, could he help just like he used to. He started this tradition with me when we had been married only 4 months (newlyweds.)
Well this farm has acres and acres of trees and I was already tired from my busy morning. To my surprise it had been thinned out and the trees had been beautifully trimmed. This place has about 10 separate areas with groupings of trees growing all around which requires a lot of walking. To my surprise the first area I tried there was a butterfly flitting from tree to tree and back again having a wonderful time. I found this peculiar since it is wintertime and I do not remember ever seeing a butterfly at a Christmas tree farm. I wondered if this was a sign, so I checked out the trees the butterfly had picked and sure enough they were very beautiful. I still had to check out other areas before I made my final decision but I ended up returning to the trees the butterfly had been enjoying. I picked one of the three and I have to say this is probably the best, most beautiful, perfect live tree I have ever had. Everyone that comes over is so surprised at how very perfect and beautiful the tree is.
So I just have to say I think my husband helped me pick the right tree that day.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND THANK YOU FOR THE KINDNESS YOU HAVE SHOWN ME!!!
