Can my dad see I am going through pain in my life?

I am going through a hard time with my husband at the moment. We had an argument and a plate slipped through his hand and fell on my head. I got 3 stitches. My dad used to play on of my daughters toys daily but it has stopped. Is he hurting? Is he angry? Is he worried about me .
