A beautiful, loving dream visit from your dad...and so very validating! His message does make wonderful sense.
Isn't it amazing how a pet can be so healing? It's probably why dogs (and horses too!) are often used for therapy. Perhaps your dad found a way to encourage you to adopt little Milo just for that reason.
I deal with mild depression and anxiety attacks, but I am able to pull out of it a lot just by having to care for our animals. They change my focus from going inward to having to GIVE and then they in turn give back. |
