Just a few hours ago I was remembering how my mother would ask me had I ordered ny groceries for the week, especially if bad weather was coming. I didn't remind her that I actually went to the store and got them. She was stuck in a habit of saying 'ordering groceries' from the time she actually did that a zillion years ago when we had no car. The old timey store actually delivered them to our back door in a 'Walton's' type truck.
I just now checked the mail and there was an ad from a local store saying you could 'order' your groceries for free, have them delived or pick them up all ready to go without walking around in the store. My first words were oh Mom, you did this didn't you. Pictured her smiling.
And BTW-the storm left us with just rain and a bit of wind, no damage at all.
