Hi CATH!
I think I have mentioned this before in an earlier post, but one of our fave bands was Cheap Trick. Our song was "The Flame." The first time we saw Cheap Trick at this event 5 years ago, they played the song and we were able to dance to it in person.
The interesting thing was.... this year, they DIDNT play the song. It's one of their biggest and they didnt play it... All I could think to myself was "thank you." Even though I was bracing for it, expecting it, ready to record it.. they didnt play it, and I have to believe that it was very much a God moment that they didnt play it. I believe that it would have been all too much if they did.
But the great thing.. I met the bass player afterwards...... it was absolute perfect timing for me to meet him...
