Seventh anniversary of my mom's death is approaching quickly. She'll be gone 7 years on the 25th. My dad was gone 50 years the 8th of this month, half a century ago. For days leading up to the 8th I talked to him, begged him to send a sign. After all, 50 years is sort of special. I can still see him standing at the front door so long ago, waving at me that last time as I drove away. That memory will never dim nor fail to bring a tear to my eyes. Well, long story made short, no ADC from my dad on the 8th. Kept waiting and watching and nothing came. Went to bed very disappointed.
Now, here comes the 25th in a few days. Maybe the best thing to do is not to fret about if they'll get in touch or not. Just go about your day as usual.
Sorry I don't keep up with the board as often as in the past. Age and health rule now. My dad would be 101 if he were still alive and my mom would soon be turning 92. So that tells you right there I'm no spring chicken.
I do hope everyone is doing as well as possible as we travel this world without those we miss so dearly.
