I have a question about something strange that happened to me the other day. First off, I am no stranger to synchronicity (weird "coincidences" that somehow have some meaning to what's going on in one's life and so forth). I am also familiar with other paranormal experiences.
A few days ago, I was reading a news article about someone being incarcerated over a murder and his participation in the murder was being questioned, hence the purpose of the article. But something in the article I found really heart-wrenching and it was about another murder this man was suspected of being guilty of, and it was of a teenage boy. The circumstances of this homicide were so horrifying that I couldn't stop thinking about it and feeling awful for the victim, even though it happened over 30 years ago (I was a child when it happened and I did not know the victim).
I started reading more about this homicide as I couldn't get it out of my head and I wanted to find out more about the victim, I guess I just wanted to get the horrible details of his death out of my mind and learn more details about him as a person. When I read about the discovery of his body that day by a janitor, I noticed that it said the janitor was a Hungarian immigrant (plus I recognized his surname as a Hungarian surname). So, the other day, at work, and I work in a real estate law firm dealing with numerous files, one of the files was for a borrower with the same last name as the Hungarian janitor. This name is not common in the United States at all and according to the list of most common Hungarian surnames I found, is not common in Hungary either.
I guess I'm just wondering what this could all mean. Like could I just have noticed this borrower's name and picked it out because I was thinking about this boy's murder? Where does synchronicity come from, like does it come from some kind of collective unconscious or could it have come from this boy himself even though I did not know him in life? Sorry for the long post, but I was stunned when I came across this weird "coincidence" the other day. Thanks and blessings to all! |
