Yes, there are a lot of us here that feel like we've been given a "heads up" in knowing that a loss is coming. Any number of us. I don't think you are off topic at all. We do discuss this and other things quite often.
I think we're given a knowing quite often, to help us mentally prepare for that loss. Yes, I do think much of the time, the knowing is at a soul level.
