Josie, I do believe it is a sign of spirit being near when you get that high pitched ringing in your ear, I have had telepathic confirmation of this. I think we all have our ears ringing from time to time and often wonder why. I think it is very possible that we 'all' have someone that loves us on the otherside even if some are not aware of it.
