I lost the love of my life, John, last September and have been in grief ever since. The other night I had a wonderful dream. He came to me as a younger man and told me how wonderful he was and it was being where he was. He said he would see me again and he hugged me. He was so joyful and the best of him shined through. I am so happy that he is in a good place. Blessing to all who have lost a loved one.

5 months ago I lost my husband. I am here with our 14 month old baby boy. He will never hear his father's voice or get to play with him. However, I know his father is with us everyday. I see "signs" all over the place and can feel it in my heart. Although, I will never be the same (I also lost my mother when I was 19), I cherish what I do have. I have wonderful family and friends and most of all, a beautiful boy who reminds me of his daddy everyday. Reading books like this has helped me tremendously. I have also had "visits" through dreams and I believe it is because I am opening myself up to things that others shrug off. My faith is stronger then ever. I am not sure why such young wonderful people are taken from us, but I do know that when we die it is not over. We will all meet again in time. I love you, Jason and mom!

We lost my 6 month old granddaughter about 6 weeks ago and I just got your book Hello From Heaven. I know she is in heaven, but I am having a hard time accepting that she is gone. Already I have read about a parent who feared accepting the reality that their child was gone and felt that they couldn't cope with the idea that the child wasn't going to be here anymore. That is exactly how I feel and it is comforting to read that someone else has felt the exact same way.

Hello Judy & Bill, I read Hello from Heaven several years ago and found it to be a truly uplifting book. My husband, soulmate and love of my life left this earth 6 years ago and I've began re-reading your book, part of my healing journey. It is as profound now as it was when I first read it... thank you! I have done so much grief work and after 6 years I've turned a corner... thank God for small mercies. I have "chosen" not to allow his death to define his life. Meaning there comes a time when we must make a conscious choice to celebrate the life of the person instead of mourning the death. Focus on the life not on the death... because the death was only a fraction in all the time you had together. Don't worry... you will see him or her again... of this I have absolutely no doubt. I know it is not easy, it takes time and that time frame is different for everyone. I wanted to share that there is hope in a situation that often seems hopeless. Please take good care of yourselves and Blessings to you all. Rohana
