I have recently lost my best friend and soul mate and I am lost. I pray every day for a sign that he is with me; but so far I have felt nothing. I hurt so much and miss him so much and just dont understant why he is gone. I would welcome some help. I tried to enter one of the chat rooms but couldnt. Maybe someone could help me. Thanks

In 1999 my son Jayson died while serving in the military. I understand the grief of a mother who has had her child die and also the joy of finding him again.. in her heart.. and becoming his voice.. I venture on to relieve the grief stricken and comfort the hurting soul.. Rev Jenine http://thelilaccenter.com

Have not picked up the book as of yet, but have been ready testimonials from others. I lost my 22yr old son 2 1/2 weeks ago and im totally beside myself, I feel a part of my soul has died with him. I ask everyday how I could talk to him in 7:30am and 4 hours later he is gone. I have no answers as of yet and struggle everyday with the pain of knowning he is never coming home again. I cannot wait to pick up this book, any comfort at this point will be worth it. Thanks so much

"Hello from Heaven" was one of the first books I read after my close friend passed. It will be three years this month (June 2005). I still miss him deeply, always will. My husband and I continue to get signs from him (sometimes when we ask, and sometimes spontaneously, esp. on his birthday!). Songs on the radio, light bulbs that blow out, malfunctioning smoke alarms, strange little toys we have found along the road on our walks, hummingbirds, butterflys, rainbows, and dreams. Don't give up if you haven't had a sign yet. Never doubt that they love you and will try to get through to you...sometimes when our grief is too heavy it is harder for them I think - they are there but we are too upset to feel them with us. I never thought I would make peace with this loss but it is coming, slowly. "When you lose someone you love, you never get over it, but you learn to live with it"...as said by my Hospice bereavement counselor. I highly recommend counseling to anyone who is grieving deeply, it really, really helps. You find out you are not "crazy" for doing the things you do to cope (like going to the cemetery everyday, or talking to the person everyday, or being angry, or whatever). We have to get through this time in our lives, try to continue to help others, and know that our loved ones on the other side are sending their love and support to us, and "rooting" for us to keep going. I think I will always be working through my grief but I hope others will find peace of mind through this book. Much love to all - JS
